Gunung Gading Waterfall 1

Our target today was to find the Jangkar / Jantan waterfall at Kpg Jantan (Sematan) but none of us know the route there. So, we ended up losing our way, wasted 2 hrs searching the falls. At last, we changed plan to Lundu's Gunung Gading Waterfall No.1

Rottnest Island (Rats-Nest Island)

Rottnest Island is located about 19km off the coast of Perth, WA and is home to some of the worlds most crystal clear beaches and bays. Rottnest Island was named in late 1696 by the Dutch explorer William de Vlaming who called it Rottnest meaning rat's nest, which he thought the Quokkas were giant rats.

Rottnest Island was initially used for farming, fishing and salt gathering until it became a prison for Aboriginal men in the late 1830's. In 1903, the Aboriginal prison was closed and the island was open for recreation

It is easily travelled in 30 minutes by fast ferry from Fremantle.

Most visitors ride bicycles on the island.

The Lakes on the island

There are bicycles around

A beautiful tree

We cycled about 5km to reach the Oliver Hills, which guns were built to defend Australia during WWII (1937 to 1950). It could fire to a distance of 28km. They were about 7 of these guns in Australia. But by 1950s, these guns were obsolette and removed, leaving this only one in Australia.

Matang Family Park

A last minute planned trip again. Only, 7 of us. Today we reached Matang Family Park around 2pm. It's quite a nice place if u walk further up to the inner waterfalls. But I still prefer Kubah falls as there are too many visitors in Matang Family Park!

This
should be a nice trip! The weather was really good today. But the whole trip was ruined by a few thieves! The losses today is quite a big amount. We lost 5 handphones and cash. The worst part is that our stuff were just within 7 metres from where we were playing. 损失惨重。。。

We ended up rushing around and doing those phone card cancellation stuff. Total losses is about RM7,000! Curse those bastards!

Morale of the story: Keep your personal belongings attended and stay alert at all times !
